You can read the site without creating an account. We do not sell personal information or ask for your name or phone number to show an article.
Information involved in running the site
- Messages you choose to email us, such as corrections or permission requests.
- Technical logs needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address and browser type. Cloudflare handles the hosting layer.
- Aggregated usage information from Google Analytics when a measurement ID is enabled. We use it to understand which pages are useful, not to build an email list.
Cookies, fonts, and advertising
Analytics may use browser storage or cookies. The site also loads Google Fonts, which can expose a request and IP address to Google. You can block or clear cookies in your browser and still read the core articles.
The English site does not load AdSense unless the site owner explicitly enables an approved publisher ID. If advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure, and limit ads. This page must be reviewed again when that happens.
